Director's Message
Hannah Baidoo-Dedzi

Our management philosophy is based on responsibility and mutual respect. People’s interest in associating with the school stems from our identity for creativity and achievement.
ICC aims at becoming a leading provider of quality British-style education embedded in an art integrated curriculum. Lessons taught by our highly qualified teachers are focused on developing themes relevant for the development of a global citizen. Prevalent concepts are built on themes in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Arts. These lessons are very practical, meaningful and very well linked to students’ future careers. Practical learning is more essential because of its recognition and value placed on it by many leading universities as well as employers.

Vision

To offer our students world class education grounded in the Christian faith.

Learning Principles

Our learning principles are based on current research and best practices on successful learning. This guide our day-to-day practice and serve as an explicit ongoing source for self-assessment and review of teaching practices. We believe that, learning with understanding is facilitated when new knowledge is constructed around existing knowledge, major concepts and principles of the curriculum.

Culture and Climate

All leadership activities take place within a cultural context encompassing the school’s culture and ethos. Our culture affects how individuals treat one another, the expectations people have for their own and others’ behaviour, and the belief structure underlying school practices.

Non-Discriminatory Policy

International Community College is a Christian-based international school, thus ethical principles taught are based on the Bible. However, we do not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, cultural heritage, political beliefs, marital status or national origin.
